GROUP 5 Architects and Planners was founded in 1972, by Richard K. Swain, to initiate a practice incorporating innovative planning methodology and building techniques acquired over three decades of successful practice in Sweden and the United States. These include advanced building systems, planned community design, and the planning and design of housing, retail stores, hotels, hospitals and medical facilities.
